A couple of days after mom passed away I was told about a fundraiser that one of my best friends, Kevin and Lori Prouty had started to help me out with different expenses after mom’s passing. I didn’t think much about it at the time, I was so wrapped up in my grief and I didn’t stumble across it either online. Until yesterday, when Kevin texted and asked when I could swing by and pick up the money. Oh my! So I went to their house and received a check of almost $300!!! WOW!!! It is amazing! I don’t know who the generous people are but I would like to express my deepest gratitude and say THANK YOU!

It surely is a struggle. Not only did I loose mom but also the income that she had from her retirement that covered the rent every month. And with COVID preventing us from doing overtime as well as my body not being 100% I haven’t been able to do any overtime at all. So yes every penny is amazing. I hope that I will be able to start picking up extra shifts soon. Work has at least lifted so we can do overtime, I just need to make sure my body can handle it too and make sure my dogs get the attention and training they need.
