It was a while back we got a call out to respond for a missing person but last night it was time again. Late in the afternoon and I was just about to go for a walk. Thankfully I had only changed clothes and not left the house yet so I could just change again and head out the door, up to Royse City.

A 14 year old girl was missing with suspicious circumstances. As with all operations it is a hurry up and wait game. There are a lot of volunteers living not too far from this area so we had a really good turnout of volunteers.

But it didn’t take long before we got called off. Not because of bad outcome but it was confirmed that the subject was nowhere close to Royse City, therefore no reason for us to search. The girl was found earlier today in South Texas.

Some of us went to eat instead before we all went home to sleep!
