I was working EMS at Texas Rose Horse Park today. Beautiful day and a lot of beautiful horses. You could tell that people was so excited to be out and about today competing in the trials. Dressage, jumping and cross country is going on all weekend long. It was a lot of fun for me too, but a little cold in the morning.

So there I am, sitting on my golf cart that I’ve been assigned looking at the dressage warm up when five riders comes walking by. Nothing special… until they passed me and I see one of the riders wearing this jacket

It says Täby Ryttarsällskap (Täby Riding Association or Täby Riding Club). That my friends is one of the clubs I once belong to. Täby is a suburb of Stockholm and that’s where I grew up!!! She had passed too far for me to even take the golfcart and catch up with them (it would be very awkward) so I didn’t have the opportunity to ask about it! But my mind went spinning and I posted this picture on social media, maybe I’ll find out who it is. I was also looking for the jacket all morning but figured that they must have taken it off. What is the likeliness to see a jacket from my hometown in Sweden in East Texas? Pretty cool if you ask me!

Here are just some random pictures I took at the show. I really enjoyed looking at all beautiful horses. One day I will be able to take up riding again. I miss it so much!
