Took BamBam to the vet today for his monthly ear treatment. Traditionally, I walked with both of the dogs there so they could get their stimulation of the day. Twix had energy for three dogs today. He was certainly not in the mood to listen to me or do anything else than walk as fast as possible and cover as much area as possible. It felt like my arms was at least 10 inches longer when we came to the vet. BamBam is always behaving so he is rarely a problem.

So since we were at the vet I asked the tech to take Twix in to weigh him. He is about to be neutered in the upcoming weeks and I wanted to know what price category he was in. I thought he was about 50lbs… I was only thinking in pounds, if I would have converted it to kilos I would probably have realized that he is heavier than 22.68kg. And was I wrong. I asked people to guess on Facebook how much he weigh… the correct answer is 66.2lbs (30.03kg)! He is a BIG BOY! The weight on a 8 months Dalmatian male should be between 29-57 lbs… The weight on a 12 month Dalmatian male should be between 34-67 lbs. But he is as happy can be, just very big!

The other day he also got a bunch of toys to activate him with since he is very active… he thought he was in toy heaven or something!

Hopefully these will last him for a little bit… he didn’t get them all at once but he know they are somewhere and just waiting for one more… you can never have enough toys according to Twix!
