It was a while since I did a Smule recording. Thought about it many times but it wasn’t until today that I felt the energy to get it done. I have not taken a not for a long long time. Just not been inspired or thought it was fun. But with the voice being quite rusty and I just wasn’t very rehearsed on it, it wasn’t too bad…

I actually wanted to do it in Swedish but it just didn’t happen today, maybe another day… but I like the jazz arrangement on it actually.

The second song I did was a song I sang when I was in the late teens. I performed it on my grandfather’s 80th birthday in 2003 and it was a great success. I was thereafter invited to sing it on several events. But haven’t done it for a couple of years now and I haven’t done a Smule recording so I said sure. This arrangement is very very slow. I was almost bored myself while singing it and then it’s bad.

So when I had done this recording I started looking for one that was a little faster. Well the first one I found was in a higher key which was a little challenge as it was right on my “break line”. I had only heard a couple of bars of this arrangement, not even the entire song when I decided to try it. I only did one recording and this is it…

Realized when I was posting them in here that the voice was not very loud but I turned it down because I had to fight for it and I was afraid it would be too screamy… well well… not that important. Which version do you like the most? It could absolutely be better but it was pretty fun…
