A Months Progress

I know that I will enjoy looking back at this project a couple of years from now so I try to document it as well as I can. It is such a huge project to go through. Not only physically rough but emotionally. I find things and pictures that brings back memories. Have to make decisions whether to keep it, give it away, sell it or throw away.

It is exactly a month ago that I opened the storage unit with the intent to make a big dent in this project. This is how it looked when I started:

I think I have filled around 30 trash bags so far. Probably emptied around 100 boxes if not more! Throughout this month this has looked like a bomb hit at some times and then it looks more structured sometimes. It is a rollercoaster for sure…
But I make this post to be able to see the progress myself later on. A month into the project when I have been able to be here almost every day I have been off work and just taken 1-3 hours to sort things. Before it got too hot. Brought stuff with me home to repack and organize. Had one garage sale so far. And this is the difference…

At least you can see the back wall now!!! And the equestrian locker to the right back there… there is a significant progress, that’s for sure!

And yesterday I made more room with getting the bed tables out of the way… There are some cool furnitures coming in the future to be sold as well. I just have to make room to get it out first!
I will have three days this week to get more stuff done here and hopefully I can get more things sold and out completely. That would help A LOT!
