I am so proud of myself! Third day I went to the storage unit to do another load. This time I bought trash bags on my way there so I actually could get stuff where it needed to be. It was a little discouraging looking at it when I was done today. It looked like a step backwards even though it wasn’t. The trash pile to the left has almost doubled in size!

I hope that all of that can be gone at the end of the week. It will make so much difference! 1/4 of the entire unit is trash that needs to get out of there! That’s a lot!

So I brought some stuff with me home to go through. One box that was, again, half broke I found music scores and a bunch of pictures. Among all this I found two pieces of cardboard taped together. There was something in there. I absolutely needed to know. And this is why I go through each and every box so thoroughly… I was absolutely in shock when I realized what it was!

That is a autographed picture of one of my favorite actresses Glenn Close! Are you freaking kidding me? Am I now the owner of an autographed picture of Glenn Close? Holy Moly! I am going to have this professionally framed ASAP. This is such a treasure! I have to admit I have a little hard time realizing what I just found!

Then I found something that doesn’t have any value for anyone else than me. But for me this is a big inspiration. This is the critique from my very very first dressage show back in Sweden. It was a club show, nothing big, but for me it was. And I came second… that was absolutely huge!

I’m going to have this framed as well. As a memory of where I came from. 32 years ago. Inspiration for making my way back to the show ring one day. Because I absolutely miss it. And this piece of paper is well preserved throughout all the moves and years!

As I have half the storage unit still to go through I wonder what I will find next… it is a treasure hunt for sure!
