I wasn’t really sure how the event in Ben Wheeler would turn last Saturday out to be honest. The weather forecast was quite tricky but it was worth a shot. The booth didn’t cost me anything so I had nothing to lose. So up in the early morning and brew tea and off I went.
Not as many vendors as last year since the organizers didn’t really send out anything about it until very late but that’s fine. We got to be at the same place with the same neighbors as last year which was fun. Catch up a years worth. The radio stations were there and that was so much fun! They all let us be on the air and advertise for our businesses. Until about 1:30 pm… that’s when the rain put an end to it… darn rain. We all packed up quickly and went home to dry up.
Feels good to be back “on the road” with Harlequin Tea. Next week I’m heading to Terrell to an even smaller event. It’s not about making a million dollars worth of money, it is about getting the brand out in front of people and get the name imprinted in their heads. This year is a new logo etc and it is just to fight on!
