Terrell ISD Presentation

A Profession I could never have: Teacher. I am grateful every day that I don’t have any kids. It’s just not me. Never had that motherly feeling of wanting kids, instead I’m grateful to not have that responsibility. I know it’s weird but I said to mom already when I was 11 that if I ever get kids, I will adopt.

Today, myself and other realtors were invited to Terrell ISD for a presentation about what they are offering to the kids in the area and how they are thinking about the future etc. When I saw this invitation on social media I said “I will be there!”. Since I don’t have any kids or hang out with others that has kids I have absolutely no idea what is happening in the schools today. The most involvement I have is talking to the school resource officers because I know a couple of them. Probably doesn’t give me the right angle of the schools. When client asks me, I will have to go on the website and find the information. So for me, this opportunity was absolutely fabulous!

Superintendent Dr. Warnock told us about the last four years she has been with the district, covid effects, going to a 4 day week and what the future looks like, what the districts offers and so much more. I was highly impressed! I was sitting there almost asking if I could enroll because it sounded so much fun. Crap this adult life!

Hickory Roots had catered the lunch, chicken spaghetti. It was a good while since I had it and it was delicious. They even had to go boxes so I got me a box for work on Saturday!

Thank you Terrell ISD for this opportunity to learn more about all the amazing things you do for our kids. And let me know if I am allowed to enroll for next school year…
