Speed: 100 miles/hr

It’s like the last week, I’ve been running 100 miles/hr every darn day. No wonder that my energy completely came to an end yesterday afternoon. On top of that the rain has been pouring down for the last three days which just lowers the energy even more.

What was uplifting was Forney Area Networking Group (FANG) yesterday! It is always a great group of people and I always walk away from there with at least one business card to follow up. Yesterday was no exception. And I was so excited that Stephen Edwards with PillarToPost stopped by. He is my guest in the Small Business & Entrepreneur Podcast next week!

I was supposed to go and look at a place for the horses after the meeting but they texted and asked if we could do it in the weekend instead due to the rain. So I went straight home. And crashed. I guess my body had enough. Slept like a rock. Woke up super weird. It was almost to the point I needed to go to the ER or something. But I stayed home and this morning felt much better. Guess I just needed rest. And looking back, I understand why my body had enough.

So… 3:30 am… I wake up since I’ve been in bed for about 12 hours at this point. Out in the kitchen and start a crockpot… That is the best invention ever! Some chicken, spices and butter for 6 hours on low…

While that was cooking I headed to Terrell Chamber Of Commerce’s Morning Mingle. Until today I’ve been visiting as a member for Star Spangled Real Estate but since Harlequin International now is a member, I could more promote myself! I met some new people and I even won a price in the drawing! An insulated RTIC backpack! I needed one actually so I was super excited about this!

On my way home I stopped by another place, outside Kaufman to look at boarding for the girls. Well, I won’t make up my mind until after I’ve visited the two places I have scheduled for Saturday.

When I came home the crockpot was almost done. Perfect timing to cook the pasta and add the last ingredients…

I was able to get 5.5 mealpreps out of this! And doing the math… the chicken was a little expensive. Could probably have gotten cheaper at Walmart but whatever… $4.50/meal aint bad… So now I have food for a couple of shifts at work!

Tonight is going to be exciting. I turned in an offer for a client yesterday and we’re supposed to get an answer tonight! It is a nerve wrecking wait! But that’s all we can do… to be continued…
