I was at an event yesterday and got a question: “What do you do?”… Suddenly I didn’t know what to answer. I do so much. EMS, realtor, entrepreneur and running my own company with a tea brand and now also a podcast production. And she looked at me and asked how in the world I had time with all of what I do. And the answer is because I don’t have a family to take in consideration. I have my two dogs and three horses, otherwise I do what I want. Without asking anyone.
At the time of writing this, it is 6:13 am and I just came home from the barn and the morning feeding of the horses. It is 36 degrees outside (2.2C) so the girls need both breakfast and dinner now. My next thing on the agenda today is Forney Area Networking Group at 11:30. Then I have to go back to the barn tonight to feed them dinner. That’s it. I don’t have any kids to pick up from school, anyone that is yelling for food (except the dogs). I am blessed with a lot of freedom and my animals!

I posted this picture on Threads the other day… wrote “I can’t get enough of this guy ❤️”. Have in mind, I am not active on Threads. But heck, this got 21 likes, and all of them from strangers! For me that is almost going viral! 😂

The last couple of days I have mostly worked on the podcast projects. I got a logo made that I actually like a lot. I had an idea for it in my head but it turned out pretty darn good.

I have created a special Facebook, Instagram, Threads and X (Twitter) account and I made a website for the podcast yesterday. Needless to say, it’s been busy! But I absolutely enjoy it! I am going to record an ad for Harlequin Tea, and my dream is that I can get others to advertise their businesses as well. It is not something I work on really, if it happens it happens!

On my way to the event yesterday I drove through Forney… suddenly the traffic was backed up. Forney has always been a weird town to me. I don’t know why… the traffic is horrible, the roads are miserably planned, it stinks from one of the plants. Sorry, I just don’t like Forney and yet I work there… oops. Anyway. Traffic backed up and when I come closer I completely understand why…

Yes, that is an aeroplane in the middle of HWY 80. He had to do an emergency landing and good lord did he just nail it. No injuries, the pilot was walking around. He didn’t hit anyone, barely destroyed the guardfence. WOW! Forney being Forney…

Oh, yeah… every year I try to get an ornament that reflects the passed year. I think I found the perfect one this year…

My tree only have two ornaments this year… this one and another big snowflake that I won at a networking meeting last week. Gosh, I am so lazy when it comes to decorations…

Well, I better get back to work and stuff I have to get done today!
