The other day the speaker for December’s networking cancelled on me. Well I wasn’t really worried about it. I started to rethink my strategy a little bit.

I was anyway planning on joining Wills Point Chamber Of Commerce in January. Just want to join it at the beginning of the year. Don’t ask me why. So I came up with the plan of completely cancel December’s events, people are anyway so busy with their holiday planning and things, they don’t have time right now for networking. So why not start 2024 with a big BOOM! Let’s have a combined ribbon cutting for the chamber, networking AND 1 year anniversary for Harlequin Tea!!!
So emailing Lea at the Chamber to see what she thought about it and she was absolutely on board with my idea. She doesn’t think many board members will show up though because it is in the evening. But I say like this… if they are not willing to do one single event in an evening, well then it’s their loss. Sorry.
But this will give me plenty of time to advertise the event and get it out to small businesses and people around town.

I am super excited about this. It will be awesome! I hope there will be some people showing up… you just never know! Wills Point ain’t a big town but I can at least say I tried…
