New Schedule – New Routines

Today is the first day for me “in my new life”. What in the world do I mean by that? Today is the first day where I work 24/72 at work. So I am on the truck two days this week. The rest of the days are Real Estate Days practically. So I am trying to get my days together as efficient as possible and get some kind of routine in.
I want to do my walk in the morning, then head to the barn and after that I am able to do whatever I want and need with the day. So I started today with just that. Before it got light out I did inventory for Harlequin Tea. That should have been done last week but I never got to it. Then when it was light enough so I could see where I put my feet me and the dogs went on a walk.

I don’t know why I got so sweaty. It was really cool and nice and we didn’t even walk fast. But both Twix and BamBam liked the walk. Bam was even a little more alert now when the temperature was cooler.

Came home and sat down for a couple of minutes. Just changed t-shirt and headed out the door (yes, still sweaty and nasty) to the barn. The horses doesn’t care how I look or smell 😂 as long as I feed them. They got a haircut yesterday so today was just love and brush. I can take them in the stalls now when it is cooler so finally I can do what I want and need to do without getting a heatstroke.

Need to get the farrier out to them soon… it’s just been tight with money and time lately… hopefully I can get him out next week sometimes.

I was back home just after 9 am. Quick shower and then the work started. Hunt down another agent for a client who had some questions. Then another client called and needed to change two appointments. Prepare social media, update homepages etc etc. Answer the phone and text messages. All at once.

A week ago my phone barely rang once a week. I got maybe a text a day. I really didn’t have to pay much attention to the phone… that my friends is history now! And I absolutely doesn’t mind it at all. It is just unusual for me yet. And I can actually admit that I enjoy it. I often can help people with making appointments to see a house or just answering questions. Set them up with lenders and guide them where to start the process. It is a lot of fun! I am happy that I started this adventure! My only wish is that I had a couple of more followers on my social media channels. 54 followers on Facebook and 69 on Instagram is not really cutting it. I would like it to be well over 100 on both now after a month. Well well, just keep on working on it and maybe one day it will take off.

Well, time to get back to work, still have some stuff to do before I head out the door again!
