I Love My Animals

Yesterday my animals were absolutely amazing!!! I don’t think I could be more proud than what I was to be honest!

I took my regular walk with the dogs at 7:30 am. As it is a regular weekday traffic is kind of heavy at that time in the morning. We walk the same route every darn morning. I know every dog living on that route. A family got two new dogs a couple of months ago. Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever looking puppies. Can be about 5-7 months. Super sweet dogs both of them, non aggressive. But one of them are an escape artist. And of course loves when we come walking. I am not nervous about what Twix and BamBam will do, they always ignores other dogs and get closer to me. But I am damn nervous about the huge F450 coming zooming down the narrow road that can not see the little yellow puppy in the middle of the road. Or the train that is swoshing by and doesn’t care shit about a little puppy. The last thing I want to see or deal with is any kind of accident. And how am I going to help or do anything when I have two dogs myself and BamBam is super scared of strangers!
Yesterday was no different and the puppy followed us for almost half a mile before he realized that we didn’t want to deal with him. We had come in to a gravel road and I thought that the puppy had left so I let Twix go loose, as I always do there. But Twix never left my side. Usually he runs ahead and has a great time. So I turn around. Sure enough, the puppy is a couple of feet behind us but he has stopped so I hoped he would turn around. And he did. Once Twix thought he was “safe” (he was never unsafe) he ran ahead and had a great time. Even at the cemetery was two dogs that belonged to a worker that was there. We have met them before and the owner has super control of his dogs! Both Twix and BamBam was unleashed but this is how they walked as long as we were somewhat close to their corner where he was working.

And of course we come back the same way. Guess what, the little puppy met us again and wanted to play. But Twix and BamBam behaved so well! Cars are coming left and right, I have a long leash on both dogs and they are walking on each side of me. I tried to walk in the grass as much as I could as the puppy was causing traffic problems. It didn’t turn around and went home until we were almost home. I think he understood that Twix and BamBam are not interested in playing. They are as asocial as I am! haha!

Came to the barn a couple of hours later and look what I saw… this was hilarious!

They have 17 acres for themselves… 17 acres and they are stubborn to poop in the barn. But yet, now we are getting somewhere, we are getting closer and closer to the wheelbarrow! This is so close girls! Keep on working on it and you will make it. Three poops made it to the edge at least! This is as close as its ever been! I laughed out loud when I saw this! That day they really put all of it, or most of it, in the wheelbarrow I will brag even more. Talk about loving all of your horse, even the poop!!! Not many that can brag about hosebroke horse… put a wheelbarrow in the barn and they will go there! Proud momma that’s for sure!
