Another busy two days off has soon passed and I must say I am proud of myself. I get stuff done on my days off. Yesterday I walked the dogs, went to the storage and got a load of trash out of there, went to the horses to check on them and then I got a lot of stuff done on the computer.
It now starts to show that i am making some progress in the storage unit. It is still a lot left though but I’m getting organized. The things on the right side is stuff that I want to keep, at least for now and things on the left are trash!
Just before it got dark I decided I wanted to take some pictures of the private lake in town. Well there were people there so I couldn’t go where I wanted to so I didn’t get what I wanted. If anyone know someone on the board of Finn & Feathers in Wills Point, let me know. I would like to ask for permission to go down and take pictures of the lake and the fall colors!
But I got pictures from the cemetery that I will post on my photo page and channels during the week. I have started to schedule posts, in that way there will be some continuity and hopefully that will attract more people.
I started today with heading to City of Wills Point to pay the fee for the garage sale this weekend. It turned out that because it’s HWY 80 sale the fee is waived! Yay me! But then something awesome happened. Behind the counter was a police officer. The officer waved at me and asked me if I remembered him. I was able to read his name on his vest. “No, I don’t remember you sir, but I do know who you are and I am forever grateful for everything you did.” The face on the girl behind the counter was awesome. She was so confused. The officer came out from there so I could give him a hug. It was the officer that helped me back in March when I collapsed outside my door and was outside in the cold for an hour. Today I was able to thank him in person and give him a hug! That was so awesome! He will always be my hero for how he tried to get me warm a fast as possible!
Then I headed to Lindale to pick up two T-shirts I got made for this weekend with my logo on. I had two shirts before but I was not happy with them at all. First of all, too tight and secondly the logo was not well made on them. But I am really pleased with these!!!
Then headed back to storage to do some more work. I got some boxes emptied and more trashbags filled. Got my car filled with stuff for this weekend. I am almost dreading it because it is so much and I am all alone with it. But I am trying my best at least and hopefully I will get rid of some stuff. My garage is full!!!
It doesn’t look like it’s less things there because all the trash to the left and behind there are all trashbags. Then the blue cart and the black crate I couldn’t fit in my car so I’ll have to come and get that after work or something. But I would probably say that I have been able to go through 1/3rd of the unit now. Next week, when I’ve picked up all the trash you will be able to see the big space that is actually empty behind there.
Came to the barn and Amaria had a wound on her face… what in the world did you do girl?
Nothing that needed stitches but she was not happy with me trying to clean it up. The times when your horse’s size is huge…
My friend Gertie just came back from Sweden and she had brought some ointment that is really good for things like this, Helosan. But we had not had the time to meet up yet. So I texted her and asked when I could pick it up because it would probably help Maja. So we met up shortly after! OMG I got 4 huge bottles! It will be so awesome for both me and the girls! Thank you Gertie!
Now it’s two more days of work and then the garage sale. We’re supposed to get really cold weather tomorrow and I can admit that I am a little worried about it. My body is still not adjusted to the 60s, I am very cold already and temps in the 30s is not fun for me. But I hope it will be okay and I’ll manage it. It’s only suppose to be that cold one morning so I will push through! I’ll give you an update when it’s over!
