Yesterday I did something I have not done for so many years. And it is nothing special really but it was for me.

Two weeks ago I was in Dallas and to Dover Saddlery. There I found a pair of breeches that I bought and a pair of tall socks. Since then it’s been too hot outside to wear it but then yesterday, even though I wasn’t going to ride or do anything specific with the girls, I decided to put them on!

For me it was a kind of a milestone, that I am really on my way back up on the horseback. And it felt so good. It’s a long way but this is a step in the right direction.

I also got my new barn jacket in the mail that I ordered 1.5 month ago. The colors on the pictures doesn’t do it right, it is navy blue with gold embroidery (not grey jacket), just like the colors of my logo.

I miss doing embroidery so much. It is a lot of fun! Maybe one day I will be able to do it again… I was pretty good at it. So with my hawkeye there are of course things with this that I don’t like… the loo on the front is not straight. And I would have done the back logo a little bigger… But do I care, not really…

The jacket is just a thin rain jacket, thankfully we are in Texas so I won’t need a much thicker jacket for a good while but I thought it would be a little thicker. But I’ll find something I can do my logo on that is thick for the winter. Also thinking about making something with photo & design on as well.

Got some of all smart devices back on the wifi yesterday. It is so freaking time consuming. And don’t think it works right away all the time. Oh no! If it can be messed up it will be messed up! When I was tired of doing that I sat down and created some promotional stuff for 2023. Now when I have found how I want my stuff to look like. I am a person who wants it all to look about the same and I will try to promote my little business more next year. So first of all, this will be my new business card that will be for all purposes (I have the square cards for the business)

Then I made some note cards that I will use as birthday cards and thank you cards. You can never go wrong with a handwritten double folded card that is a little generic but still gets the message out and a reminder of my business…

As you see, they all look alike. The blue background, a golden frame and the logo. I want it to be simple, clean and elegant. It just never goes wrong.

I also created the Christmas cards for this year but I won’t post them… that would ruin the fun. If you want a Christmas card or birthday card, let me know your address and I’ll make sure you get on the mailing list! Now I have to wait about 2 weeks until all this stuff gets here…
