Fun Day Off

I had SOC today which meant that I was on standby for work. But thankfully I didn’t get called in. So that meant that me and my friend Summer could put our plans in action. We headed to the barn.

Summer was so awesome helping me lunging the girls for the first time and then give them a bath! Dallas had done it before but for Acriz and Amaria it was the first time. All three did really great. They are quite stubborn all three of them though *haha*. When it came to the bath Dallas was the only one accepting the waterhose. Acriz and Dallas thought that green snake was miserable. We tried to take some pictures and videos that you can see on the other page but we almost missed to take anything of Amaria… She was doing so well lunging, especially in the left lead. I though got a really nice picture of Dallas… sad that she was so sweaty already!

Funny how horses are… they just got a bath and guess where the first place they go to is… the pond. I almost thought Amaria would lay down in the pond but she didn’t. Apparently she is not afraid of water splashing at least!

If you want to see more pictures with the horses you can see them all on my other website. Here is a direct link to the blog post!

After we were done at the barn both of us was a little hungry so we headed to Blue Bird Cafe in Wills Point for lunch. I had stuffed avocado, so delicious!

As we have had some rain lately it was time to pull out the lawnmower again. I was already so sweaty and nasty so I could as well get it done right away. I know that if I don’t get it done today, a letter from the City will be in the mail tomorrow or Friday…

You can at least see some difference. I was so exhausted at the end I truly thought I would pass out but I made it inside thankfully. That shower afterwards was amazing. So nice.

So it’s been a very good day today. Very productive. Have to put on a laundry and then I’m quite ready for bed actually. Two more days of work this week!
