I’m So Damn Proud Of Myself

I was contemplating whether I should pick up a shift at work today or not. I desperately need the money but I am so behind at home. So I made a deal with myself. I would not pick up a shift if I did something very productive at home. My goal was to get out a specific dresser from the garage so I could sell it. The weather would be good so it should be a perfect day for this kind of project.
Woke up at 6:45 and by 7:30 I went out and started this project. From the beginning it felt like a huge project as I didn’t really know where the dresser was in this mess…

I have done parts of the garage earlier but as you see, there was much more to be done… And it was a work that would take me almost exactly 6 hours to accomplish. But before that it was a huge mess!!!

To pull everything out, look through it and then organize it back in again! I did it all by myself! But it was so much worth it. Not only did I found the horses paperwork that I have been looking for but then I also found this in a box. Dirty but brand new and it also has the manual with it!!! And if you have followed this blog for a while, you know that I have wanted a kitchenaid for quite a while!!! I am so freaking happy!

So now I one day will make the effort and try to bake! Don’t guaranteeing how the outcome will be but I am so excited! I could feel how my mom was smiling from up above at my findings!

I couldn’t be anything else than proud of myself once I was done with the project. As always, I have a bunch of trash that won’t be able to get out until next week but this is how it looked like when I was done… quite a difference!

Yeah, needless to say I was exhausted. My back was so sore and tired from all lifting and moving. But it is done!!! Once all the trash is gone I will continue with the project “STORAGE”. Yeah, I have a huge storage unit in Terrell to empty too. So with that said, this is ongoing. Since they, once again (second time this year) raised the rent I really have to get it done. But now I at least have room to put more stuff and do a good garage sale! So if you like garage sales, keep your eyes and ears open… it will be coming!!!
