I don’t know exactly how many days we have been without rain but it is over 60 days! But today, we got more than we could ask for! Yes we need rain but not all at once.

Just plain rain, no thunder or lightning really which has been nice. The dogs were really excited to take a walk this morning, until they got out. Haha. But once we all were soaked and wet we just kept on going. I didn’t want to get my phone out when it was wet so I only got pictures when I got home…

It was actually nice. Yes, we got wet but it was still warm, 75 degrees which made it okay. And when you move you get warm anyway. It was like a pre-shower to the shower.

I needed to go to Terrell and get my nails done today. Usually I go to 94 Nails next to Walmart. I’ve been really happy with their job but when they were not open at 10:10 am I decided to go down to one of the new places at the mall. Don’t remember the name of the place but except that it was more expensive than 94 Nails I was pleased with both their service, cleanliness and result. No one will miss my nails for the next two weeks but I needed some bright happy colors!

Today was also the first day for the girls at the new farm in pouring rain. They always have access to their stall and there is plenty of room in the barn for them to hang out so it was quite interesting to see if they were in there or outside… needless to say, they were happy and dry inside the barn. They had finished all the hay I had put out for them and there was a lot of ”left overs” for me to clean up. Rain absolutely makes me work more but it doesn’t matter, we need the rain now!

Rain actually makes me happy. Horses makes me happy so needless to say, a day like this I am really happy. I don’t need any gym membership, that’s for sure. I get all workout that I need at the barn. My girls are happy, and that’s all that matters. Trying to get hold of a farrier but that is not the most easy task. They are not answering their phones, nor call back. I will find one sooner or later!
