I don’t know why but work is crazy right now. We usually runs around 4-6 calls per shift and we drive around 150-200 miles. Yes, I keep statistics and have done the last year so I know. On tuesday I worked a BLS truck. We only do transfers on that truck. Even those trucks has been super busy lately. Despite having 5 BLS trucks to relieve the 911 system we had 7 transfers. We just never stopped. The nice thing with those trucks is that you are never in a hurry. Then yesterday on my regular truck we were totally slaughtered. We ran 9 calls and drove 256 miles. And it was not just us being that busy, everyone was. Dispatch sent us everywhere and nowhere and changed our calls over and over again. I was so exhausted when I got home! I was in bed at 5:45pm and slept by 6pm. I don’t like being that exhausted you can barely move. Today was much better. We ran 3 calls and only drove 150 miles. So I am absolutely not as exhausted.

I’m going to be off this weekend. WOHOOOO. We are aiming on moving the horses on Saturday! I am so excited. Tomorrow will be all about finishing the last details. Move the big water draft, get hay, new halters etc. I got a message from the land owner where they are and they had moved the girls to a big pen where they will be until Saturday morning.

This will make it easier for us to load them on Saturday. Last time we moved them they did not like the idea to have halters on them and it took us quite a while to get them loaded. This time I think it will be easier with them already being in the pen.

I am so excited about this. Can’t wait. In the same time I have so much to do tomorrow!
