Not Another One…

My endless fantasy of energy and ideas is back… Some of you may have seen that there has popped up posts from a new website that kind of resembles my name… www.ceciliawichmann.com. Guess what, you are correct.

What in the world is all this now about? Another blog? Why? Good Lord…

It is actually for a 2023 project but I started it a little bit now. I can’t really talk about that project right now but… there are two major differences between the pages. This blog won’t go anywhere and will stay exactly as it is. I will write about anything going on in my life. My dogs, horses, health, EMS, CERT, music etc. Anything that comes into my mind that I want to talk about. And up on the menu bar you see it says “blog” and that link goes to this page.

The other page is going to be about or towards supporting people and businesses, positive and fun things, photography, movie reviews and random stuff. Things that are not really private in that sense. More of a review and opinion blog while this one is a life story blog. See the difference? When the idea came into my mind I said I wanted to bring an honest smile to people’s faces.

The page has been up for less than two weeks so it is tricky to tell already how it will outline. But I will always post when my podcast Swexan Podcast has a new episode out (that is something I rarely post here which is stupid), yesterday I posted about a new coffee shop in Wills Point that I visited. That is something I want to try. Support small businesses and write about it. Not that I think that this page will have a major impact in their business but sometimes that little positive attitude and push is just what makes the day better. It is also a little push to myself to get out of the house and try new things. Meet people and be social. Bring my dogs and my camera and capture the world from my perspective.

Lately I’ve felt like a homie a little bit too much. I wake up in the middle of the night, go to work, spend 12 hours on the truck, go home and let the dogs out, eat a bite and go to bed. On my days off I mow the yard, take a walk, sit in front of the computer, just having a boring life. This will challenge me to get out of the door a little bit. Visit towns and places I’ve seen and not seen before and try their attractions and restaurants and then I can tell about my experiences. Good or bad.

So that is what it is about and why. Hopefully you will find something there to make you smile or that you want to share. If you have a recommendation of a place I should visit, let me know! Certainly doesn’t have to be in Wills Point or Van Zandt County!
