I saw this event on our scheduling a long time ago and thought I wanted to go to the event, but heck, I could work it, be there and get paid for it… I thought that was quite excellent. I heard a lot about this event, its a pro event so a lot of audience and good food etc. So I signed up. And I didn’t get disappointed.
As a Swede it is a little weird with rodeo. I was quite uncomfortable the first rodeo events I worked but then someone explained to me how they train and what they actually do and it all made more sense. For all y’all Swedes that now think this is animal abuse, no it’s not.

This was thankfully a no patient event for us. We were ready to go. We had medics, emt’s, nurses, fire, you name it there (no wonder, it was a first responder appreciation event) and we were honestly expecting the worst. But we could sit all night and enjoy the show.

Well, we will be back at it tonight! Hopefully it will be as many people, if not more and as fun as it was last night!
