Breakdown

The project for today was to clean up and mow the backyard. Not a hard task, I thought it may take about 2 hours to complete as the grass was tall and a little wet and I had to probably mow it twice to be as I wanted it.

The dogs happily helped me with my project and followed every step I took. Walking back and forth with the mower the first round and suddenly with a poof the right front wheel on the lawnmower shoots off! Thank God no dogs was standing there, it would have hurt him!

I have no clue how this could have happened more than wear and tear. I’ve had this lawnmower for 3 years and never a problem. And this is an easy fix considering… but I have to wait until payday to get another wheel. I have found them online so I know where to order one.

But this was not going to stop me. I took out the trimmer and said that as long as I can get the dog run taken care of I’m good. And that was about how far I got until I ran out of string…

It was simply not meant for me to finish this project today. Well, I got the most done, at least to the point that I’m pleased. And when I get my next paycheck I’ll get another wheel and string and it will be all good. I tried and it was not my fault I couldn’t finish…

But it is a little ironic… I bought these two tools with about a month apart three years ago and both of them go out on the same day. Three years without any problems whatsoever is not bad and that a string runs out, that’s to be expected.
