I’m tired… it’s already Friday and I’m thankfully off today after three days at work. Had my standby day on Tuesday and was of course called in to work. So I was sent to my old station in Mineola and thankfully work a day shift, 7a-7p. So I came home around 8. I had planned to go to the gym really quickly but realized that it wasn’t going to happen. I had to be back at work at 4 am so I prioritized my sleep. I’m a lazy bastard!

My regular partner was off this week because it was his birthday on Wednesday: Happy Birthday Rance! Sometimes it’s fun to work with different partners and this time of the season we also have students on board as well. It was two very busy days. I had planned to take the dogs on a walk on Wednesday after work but heck… I was crawling when I got home and it was cold and rainy. The dogs were so bored and thought I was a super bad mom. I understand them and agree. Because yesterday I went home from work to let them out and then I left again. That was not nice. But we had E! Terrell and I have not been there for two months and this was an artist I really wanted to see! Brady Seals came to Terrell and if you don’t know who he is; he wrote the famous song God Bless Texas (performed by his band Little Texas).
As always I worked backstage and it was a lot of fun! I thou get some weird pictures sometimes from my angle…

But the show was great and I believe that the audience really enjoyed it. I didn’t want to take a picture with them because I was so tired and looked awful. I had now been rolling for 21 hours non stop.

When I woke up this morning I thought I was back in Sweden! It was whooping 36 degrees outside! Almost freezing! Who brought this cold here? I didn’t ask for it. Yes, I had to turn the heater on! Good Grief, where did the nice weather we had last weekend go? I want that back. The 75 degrees, sunshine and no wind! That’s my kind of weather! Thank you very much!

This was also the first week that I had to postpone the Swexan Podcast a day. I just didn’t have the time nor the energy to pull that together in time. So on Tuesday I announced that it would come out this morning. And it did! As soon as I got up I fixed it:

I have a bunch of stuff I need to do today and I have no energy to do it. But… if I get it done this morning then I will be able to take a break this afternoon. That’s my theory. So I need to get my shit together now… I am working all weekend and Monday and Tuesday so it’s just to get it all done!
