Happy Halloween

Did you know that Sweden doesn’t have Halloween? It is one of those americanized traditions that are making its way in but not really established. Kids go trick or treating but far from everyone. Pumpkins is not really something we carv. I wrote on Facebook the other day that I have never in my entire life carved a pumpkin and that’s true. I have never in my life gone trick or treating either for that matter.

That and a lot more is what I talk about in this week’s episode of The Swexan Podcast. Absolutely unscripted, I just say what comes to my mind right there and then… How many kids will the dogs and I scare the crap out of on Saturday when or if they come and knock on the door? I will have to get some candy in case someone does come… even though I hope they leave me alone since I am working all weekend and have to go to bed… My sleep is super important on my long weekends…

If you listen to this episode, please help me out and go to the Swexan Podcast’s website and click on the blog post for this episode and tell me what do you eat for Halloween (except candy)! It dawned on me when I did the recording that this is one of the few, maybe the only who doesn’t involve eating a specific traditional family meal… am I wrong? So do you go for the weekend pizza or something specific on Halloween or is it just to fill up from all the candy?
