It’s a while since we had a CERT basic class in Kaufman County. Today was the second and last day. For some strange reason the classes in Kaufman County are always the smallest. This class was 6 participants but all of them was very interested and fun people that will fit perfectly in the team. Most of the times we can pick out a couple that will be active and the rest will just fade away. But I think that all these will be really fun and active members.

It was nice to be back in the yellow uniform shirt. Due to my schedule I am quite limited to what I can participate in and when we had the contract going it was almost impossible to do anything. So to get out to do what I love fuels me with energy that I need! Today was no exception! We had a great time!

My next CERT event will be in two weeks when it’s the Fly In in Greenville. It will be fun to do a public event again. Can’t remember when I did that last! I’m so done with Covid and restrictions now!
