I have a goal for October… I want to do a workout every day possible. The reason for me putting in “possible” in there is that days like tomorrow when I have SOC (I’m on stand by) it may not be possible. If I work a shift where I can’t do it before work because it’s dark and there will not be enough time after since I work at 4 am on Wednesday then it’s not possible. But I will try to do a workout of some kind every day.
I’ve been able to take a walk after work the three first days of this month. On Friday and Saturday the dogs got a good walk and yesterday I combined cores with walking. I had to go to the mailbox and the ATM so I made it into a power walk! Despite pain in my hip and tired I got it done.
This morning my goal was to do my normal doggie walk route of 3.8 miles but without the dogs and as a good power walk. The dogs were not happy about me leaving them at home but I got it done!
I was able to keep a really good pace of 14:22 minute/mile. Anything below 15:00 min/mile is awesome so this was way better than I expected. It was rough, yes but the feeling I had afterwards was amazing. It was just he workout I needed! The kind of workout that cleans your mind and nourish your body. Good feeling. Now I have to keep this good vibes going!
