Go Sweden!

It was time to get my nails done again yesterday. It is a thing that I medically must do but I really don’t like the fact that I have to… complicated situation. After I had my cardiac arrest one of the things that changed drastically on me was my nails. They became so fragile and when they broke it became extremely painful. So to avoid that I started to go to a salon to have them done. I am simply not good at doing that kind of stuff so it’s better that someone else does it. But, I try to see it positive, it gives me the opportunity to be a little fun. Since the Olympic Games are in progress for the next couple of weeks I figured I should support Sweden in the way I can. Back in the beginning of the month I had the nails as the American flag so why not as the Swedish flag now?

I thought they turned out pretty darn cool if you ask me. I would never be able to do that myself… I can hardly make a smiley face on a piece of paper.

After ten rough days with work I finally had two days off. Gosh I needed it. I had so much to do and I got some of it done, but of course not all of it. I beat the Texas heat that is about to kick off any day and got most of the yard trimmed and mowed yesterday but since I did both and batteries ran out I had to continue today with that. I love my mower but I desperately need another battery…
Then just some house chores that sometimes just has to be done… boring but whatever. At least I could have the sound of the Olympics in the background from the TV and take breaks now and then! It is time for another early night now, work on the box for two days… Love my short weeks!
