One day last year Twix was mad. I don’t know why but he decided to push my Gardenia over and chew it to pieces. I was both sad and mad at him as I am not good at flowers but I had gotten this to give me a couple of flowers and I love the smell from it. I didn’t know if I should just give up on it or make a try to get it alive again. Half the tree was chewed up and a lot of the stem as well. But I decided to give it a shot so I cleaned it up and gave it some TLC. As time has gone, I have seen that it is actually trying to make it. It is coming with some new branches on the bottom of the stem and half of the top is actually looking okay! And now it suddenly had a flower!!!

It certainly doesn’t look like much right now but this little flower just made my day! I have now filled some more dirt in the pot and maybe it will be even happier… Guess this will be continued when the next flower comes out!
