Two Days “Off”

After being on the truck for two days (Monday & Tuesday), I now have two days “off”. Well, with starting the Swexan Podcast, having two dogs and three horses, a yard to mow, and all admin work with CERT it’s not really being off. But I have two days where no one tells me when to do what at least! And that is a nice feeling! I think the dogs also knew that I was extremely tired last night when I came home as I went to bed early. Tell me your dogs are clingy without telling me your dogs are clingy… I’ll go first:

I try to get myself together on my days off and wake and get out on my walk right away. First of all, the boys loves it and secondly it is a nice feeling having that done while it’s cool. And this morning I woke up at 6 am and at 6:42 I headed out the door on a nice walk!

It is really the perfect time of the day to do the workout. No cars, cool, no strong sun, just me and the dogs. I love it!

Had to record some promo things for Swexan Podcast so I got that done when I came home. So fun to do all that. I asked my Swedish friends on Facebook to take some pictures of their food this weekend as it is one of the most important holidays of the year; Midsummer. It will be some fun episodes coming up, that’s for sure! I have been able to line out the content for at least the two first episodes so it will be easier to record. Have to contact one possible guest as well. As I was sitting there I had to have a picture of a microphone so I took my phone and look what a cool picture i got. It is taken on my desk!

Then it was soccer time. Sweden vs Poland. Sweden had a good position. Winning or tie the game would mean advancement. Winning would mean that we won the group. Poland had much more pressure, they had to win to advance, otherwise they would go home… this was the result…

Heck yeah! I’m proud to be Swede! I haven’t figured out why Spain didn’t win the group but I’m not gonna think about that too much, just accept that Sweden won and will meet Croatia (I think) next. Well with the game I had to update the Swexan blog as well. Even if I haven’t started the podcast yet, I can update the blog with fun content, right!
