First of all, Happy Fathers Day to all dad’s out there! This is a day that I have rarely celebrated as my parents got divorced before I could remember but we did celebrate my grandfather instead.

This morning, the dogs and I took advantage of the cooler morning temperatures and headed out on our morning walk already at 6:45 am. It was really awesome weather! The dogs really enjoyed it and this early in the morning we are most of the times alone at the cemetery so I can let Twix run off leash for a little bit.

Came home and sat down for about half an hour before I let the dogs back out in the backyard, took out the lawnmower and took a walk with it as well. It was rough because the grass was still wet and it is so think in some areas so I will have to go out this afternoon and do the last since the batteries ran out. But I am pleased with pulling off 5.1 miles walking before 9:30 am!

I can admit that the shower I took afterwards was amazing! I know I will have more showers today because of the heat. I am heading out to the horses this afternoon and will most likely be quite hot.
