When I was working Friday Night we stopped at a gas station to fuel up the ambulance. On the gas pump a little yellow creature was sitting. Totally still, doing no harm to anyone. I started looking at it and wondering what it was doing and thinking and I couldn’t resist taking up my phone and take a picture of it.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one of these. I assume that it is some kind of dragon fly. But what it uses this long tail to, I have no clue But he let me come pretty close with my phone, I didn’t even use zoom, I took the camera up to him to see if he moved.

Looking at the pictures now, I’m mad at myself for not going closer than this with the zoom… but I didn’t. It was in the middle of the night and I guess I didn’t think very well… lol… Isn’t it a beautiful animal? Do you know anything about it?
