It is a hassle. Recertification to National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). You need to have it to get your state and it needs to be renewed every other year. It’s insane to think about that it is 2 years already since I did my national exam. Last week I decided that I was going to get all the paperwork submitted for my renewal. I was told that it wasn’t hard but time consuming and that was quite correct. It took me 3 hours to straighten it out but I quickly figured out what I believed was the algorithm to avoid an audit.

I checked the status today and I got it renewed and all is good for another 2 years!

My Texas certification is good for another 2 years so I don’t have to think about that yet. Now I just have to do my card classes in April and I will be good until 2023 with everything. All these certifications are quite stressful actually but what a good feeling when it is done and approved!
