Thank you all for your prayers! I went back to my cardiologist yesterday and got a clear bill to go back to work! That was an amazingly awesome feeling! It was a huge load that lifted off my shoulders and it was a pleasure to head back to our headquarters with a paper in my hand saying that I have no restrictions.

It is situations like this when you realize how much you like or dislike your job. And I can truly say that I love my job! I am so blessed to do what I love!
Since it would be my regular weekend to work I could go home and spend the afternoon with the dogs and go to bed early since my shift starts at 4am.

It was almost like the first day at work. What was the doorcode? Passwords? Had to remind myself about where our posts are located. Seven weeks is actually a pretty long time and a lot can happen during that time. It was good to see my partner as well! I think he actually missed me a little, even though I doubt he would ever admit it!

The shift was a good shift with three calls. Not too much and yet things to do. We had a student with us as well and that is always fun! Just great to see coworkers both in EMS and the hospital. I really hope I never have to be off work for this long time again!

You know they say “Do something you love and you will never have to work one day in your life“. That is very true for me!
