I don’t like to ask for money. I am of that belief that if you want to do something you make that happen by working hard and make money and then, as a reward, you will be able to do or buy what you aimed for. But a friend of mine, whom is a musician told me about Patreon. It’s a page where you can support small artists with monetary contributions. For that you get previews, behind the scene material and other things not published elsewhere. I also have the option to add merchandise items later on. I thought about it and figured that I won’t have anything to lose trying. There are now three options of subscriptions, $5, $10 or $250. To record a song costs me between $250-300. I will do some live streams there, behind the scenes, early releases and other things that will not be post anywhere else. All my Patrons will also be recognized in some way close to the project. What I don’t like with the page is that you can’t do a one time contribution, it is all subscriptions. I may be able to find a way around there. But all the money that are contributed from this site will go straight to my next recording project.

I have a vision for 2021. I am not sure it will be able to pull off, simply because of money. But it is a dream to be able to record one song a month in 2021. Even though Single City is not yet published, I am already thinking about the next recording. I know what song I want to do. There will probably not be a video to that song but there still has to be pictures taken to the project. I also have an idea for that. So yes, my brain is spinning.

I think it is so much fun to be able to work with music again. I have regained the confidence and passion to sing and perform that I lost a couple of years ago. I don’t think I will ever be a singer full time again and live on it but it is fun, and I hope it gives people a smile and they at least like what I create.
