I am so tired of Covid 19. I’ve had enough of it both in my private life and at work. I am so bored there are no words for it. Usually I am busy like crazy on my days off, I have CERT and all their events, other community events, outreach, music, concerts, shows, this and that. This year… I bought a calendar for 2020 and I have barely used it. It is sad! So when I saw this on Facebook yesterday my entire day became so much better!!!

Kaufman is moving their Scarecrow festival and making it the Octoberfest instead! It will be on October 24th! Seriously Kaufman Chamber! You made my day! I don’t know CERT’s involvement yet, we may just have a booth, it may be more but if you are a member and in Kaufman or Van Zandt Counties, put this on your calendar please! I will send out more information about it once I have it. On top of that, I am off that day so I won’t even have to fix with that! We had such a blast at the Scarecrow Festival last year. They always have a great event and it was an honor to help the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce with security, traffic control and minor medical things.

So hopefully we will have a great time this year as well. I am looking forward to it already! I am so ready for events to start up again and things to go back to normal!
