I try to be as positive as I possibly can. It is hard sometimes, life is a challenge for sure. But my animals is something that means the world to me. They are the ones that makes me not feel totally left out in the world now after mom passed away. They are the ones that really gives me the smiles and the laughter at home and makes me have a purpose of life. Nothing compares to their unconditional love! So I thought I would present them here with some new pictures…

Shannon

She was my mom’s soulmate. She is remarkably 11 years old now. We never thought she would live longer than mom. But her health is declining and it is a matter of time until I have to take the very hard decision. But every day with her is a blessing! She is the queen of the house and can basically do what ever she wants and she just want to be in mom’s bedroom most of the time.

Bam-Bam

Shannon is actually Bam-Bam’s grandmother. Bam-Bam is 5 years old and he is totally deaf. He is a very special boy due to his deafness. He is such a nice boy but he is super afraid of strangers. He does not like when people comes to visit, he just wants to go outside and that is the few times he barks. But when we are alone he is a big giant cuddly boy who sleeps in my bed and he has become a very awesome big brother to Twix.

Twix

This “little” boy has many nicknames but I think the most common one is Monster, which is not really fair to call him. He is born in February so he is coming up on 6 months and he does everything a puppy should do. Chew shoes, pick up socks, go between human legs so they fall flat etc. But he is also the most social and well behaved little guy ever. He doesn’t bark at other dogs when we are out walking (Bam-Bam ignores them as well so he takes after that good habit) and he loves to takes baths. He is really just a bundle of joy that I am blessed to have in my life!

Amaria, Acriz & Dallas

When we come to the horses I have to explain their relationship here first. From the left is Amaria (aka Maxi), Acriz (aka Mini) and Always Dallas (aka Dallas).
Dallas and Acriz has the same mother, Aisha. Before they were born, Aisha had another foal, Royal whom is Amarias mom.
To complicate it a little bit more, Acriz and Amaria are both by the Swedish dressage stallion Briar 899. Did you get this mess?

Due to my living situation right now I can’t have the girls at home. I doubt that the city would agree to me having three big horses in the backyard. But I am so thankful that I have friends and coworkers that has land that let me have them there. My dream is of course to be able to one day move out to the country again and have them close to me!
