Wills Point had a Back The Blue event today. I was going to swing by to represent CERT for a little bit and I took the opportunity to socialize Twix a little bit. Even thou it was hot I figured that he could come along for a little while. I wanted to see how he did in environments like this because he has never been at an event. There are smells, people, other K9s, music, you name it! So it could go either way. I didn’t think it could go bad, he is a very forward dog and not scared of much but he totally exceeded my expectations!

He walked perfectly on the leash. He let everyone talk to him and pet him. When I was standing still he was just laying down in the shade and when we were watching the K9 demonstration he was just watching them without barking at all, almost like he was learning what they were doing! And they did the demonstration just a couple of feet from the fence and he didn’t bark or bother them at all! I was so proud! It may be a really good dog out of this boy some day!
