My friends and former coworkers at The Terrell Tribune contacted me last week offering to put mom’s obit in the paper. I had not even thought about it since we are not having a funeral but I sat down and put a short obit together. Little did I know how good it felt to see it in the paper today. I don’t know why but it was some kind of honor to mom.

Pia Wichmann went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2020. Pia was born January 9, 1949 in Naestved, Denmark. Her work a a flight attendant and executive assistant to CEO of major international companies took her all around the world. She lived in 9 different countries and spoke 5 languages fluently. After spending most of her life in Sweden, she made the big move together with her daughter to Terrell, Texas in 2008.
Pia loved arts and crafts and there was no project too big for her. She also had a big passion for dogs and animals.
Pia is survived by her daughter Cecilia Wichmann and her Great Dane Shannon.
